A "good enough" mom muses about alpha moms, adoption, computers, the State Of The World, Internet quirkiness, and the Kosmik All
R.I.P. Jim Baen
Most of my readers won't give a hoot, but a few may be SF readers. Jim Baen passed away yesterday, the result of a major stroke. He was 63 years old. He spearheaded Galaxy magazine for a while, then Tor Books, then became the founding father of Baen Books. A great number of the books on my shelves are Baen Books. David Drake's memorial tells his story.
