As a result of the Betsy's maiden voyage, I have a lower back ache that isn't going away, merely getting worse and worse. Mommies and MommyBlogging are in the news. For the moment, I'll pass on this article, in which a lady in Britain admits that she's bored by her kids. And the article about the backlash Then there's the I Hate MommyBloggers post, about being bored by MommyBloggers at the BlogHer conference, which is related to the previous article. Apparently, this raised a bit of a ruckus at BlogHer. Some discussion, agreement, and backlash on that, here, here, here and here. Then, a male take on BlogHer, which author Dave Winer ended up changing because of the kerfuffle about him daring to come right out and say that it was nice to flirt with good-looking women who like to blog. Which leads to some posts about the staying power of blog posts due to RSS feeds, internet archives, etc. Goodness. It's all a-roil and a-boil. We have Yet More Visitors coming up the hill this evening, so I'll be back on Friday to pass on more pearls of wisdom.
