Dress-up

The dotter came bouncing home from ballet class (OmegaDad took her), and whirled into me, asking, "Mommy!  Mommy!  Can I wear one of your pretty dresses?!"

So, here she is, all dressed up.

    Har. She discovered the "Smile!" grimace about a year ago. Do all kids do that? I know I did when I was a kid.

    My kids think that any dress of mine is prettier than their own just because its mine. But yours IS a pretty dress! And a pretty girl in it.

    Cute-She looks very tall wearing her elegant dress!

    Dd does the grimace too. When my nephew started that a few years ago (he's now 8) bro and SIL started telling saying "(name) Don't smile!" He would laugh and then they would snap the picture because he would have a more natural smile.
